Downtown / Loop

Downtown Chicago is where a lot of corporate meetings naturally land. The Loop puts groups in the middle of the city’s business district, with major hotels, meeting spaces, restaurants, the Chicago River, Millennium Park, and some of the city’s most recognizable architecture all within a relatively compact area. For companies bringing people in from different offices or different parts of the country, it also gives attendees the feeling that they are actually in Chicago, not simply spending three days inside another conference hotel.

Schaumburg has become one of the Chicago area’s major suburban meeting destinations. The Schaumburg Convention Center, connected Renaissance hotel, surrounding hotels, Woodfield Mall, restaurants, and entertainment options give planners a lot of ways to bring a group together without sending everyone into downtown Chicago. Rosemont may be one of the easiest places in Chicagoland to gather people who are flying in from everywhere else. O’Hare is minutes away, the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center anchors a large convention and meeting district, and hotels, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment are packed into the surrounding area. For conferences, sales meetings, training programs, and national company gatherings, that convenience can make a very large difference.
